2. These Terms
These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern the sale of products through our multiple websites {practicename}.vetpetshop.co.uk (the "Site"). Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. Every time you order products from us, the Terms in force at that time will apply.
3. Our Products
All descriptions, images, and prices of products appearing on the Site are subject to change at any time without notice. All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply, to supply only part of an order, or to divide orders.
4. Orders
Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy the products. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We will confirm acceptance of your order by sending you a confirmation email (the "Order Confirmation"). If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product.
5. Prices and Payment
The prices displayed on our Site are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges (where applicable) are not included in the product price and will be clearly displayed at checkout.
We accept payment by Credit card and Debit Card. Payment must be made at the time of order.
6. Delivery
We deliver within United Kingdom, including the Highlands and UK islands, unless otherwise agreed. Delivery costs and estimated timescales are specified on our Site and in your Order Confirmation. Delays can occasionally occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We shall have no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products within estimated timescales.
7. Your Right to Cancel (Consumers Only)
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel a contract under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your order by a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email).
Effects of Cancellation:
If you cancel your order, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us). You must return the goods to us at your own cost without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you communicate your cancellation.
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
8. Returns Policy
For further information on returns, please refer to our Returns Policy.
9. Faulty or Misdescribed Products
If a product is faulty or misdescribed, you have a legal right to reject or seek a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Please contact us at customerservices@vetpetshop.co.uk within 30 days of receipt if you believe a product is faulty.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot be excluded under law.
Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damages arising out of or in connection with any order.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. You agree that the Scottish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising from or related to these Terms or any contract between us.
12. Other Important Terms
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed deleted, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under a contract to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under these Terms.
